New Additions

Y'all know I've been a bit upset since my appointment Monday that I can't go anywhere this weekend for Thanksgiving.  I really hate that I'm not going to visit family.  But to make my weekend at home better our sweet Piper had her puppies today :)

Yes, we are crazy having puppies and a baby!  But you have to admit there is never a dull moment at our house.

We have 4 new additions - 2 males & 2 females - all brindle like their momma.

I'm so proud of Piper.  I wasn't sure how well she would do, but she's awesome.  She did so good having the pups & taking care of them.

Downhill from here

We've made it to the 3rd trimester - yay!  It has gone by so fast!

We had another good checkup today.  We had a 3rd trimester ultrasound.  I was a little afraid & Paul Michael a lot hopeful that we would find out the sex of the baby.  This little booger did not want that to happen.  Right now he or she is breech.  We could see the head & spine, but we didn't get any good pictures.  And definitely did not get a peek of little girl or boy parts.  Doc had a hard time getting femur measurements because of the baby's position.  He eventually got all the measurements he needed, and everything is normal.

The heart rate was 148.  And the baby weighs 2 lbs. 6 oz.
I gained another 5 lbs. & my bp was good.

The downside to this appointment was that from now on Dr. Pineda strongly suggested that we not travel.  Not because anything is wrong, but just to be on the safe side.  He said he wouldn't want us to be away from home if I went into preterm labor & be stuck in a hospital somewhere else.

So, this means no Thanksgiving or Christmas travels :(
I might try to sneak a trip in there, but this baby's very, very protective daddy has said otherwise.

Our next appointment will be Dec. 6.  Since we are in the final trimester he wants to see us more often (every 2-3 weeks).

For the family that I won't get to see this week :(  Look how much I've grown!

The week we found out I was pregnant - June 11

14 weeks - August 15

24 weeks 2 days - October 26

28 weeks - November 21

Busy morning....

Wow, we had a busy day today and all before noon!

The state fair was open early today just for Willis Knighton employees & family. I've never been to a fair before, so this was an experience for me.  Paul Michael & I headed out early and spent a few hours checking things out while it wasn't too crowded. Paul Michael can't wait to have a little buddy to ride rides with!

Paul Michael found plenty of rides to keep him entertained.  I sure didn't mind finding a bench to hold down!

My favorite part was the animals!

When we got home we had a package waiting!  Paul Michael is practicing for many Christmas' to come!
